ARTIST'S PARTICIPATION

The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts is a juried show open to all artists and craftspeople. One of the festival goals is to encourage regional artists and craftspeople. To accomplish this we award one point in the jury scoring to Erie County and New York State residents. Participating artists must be present for the entire festival. No agents, dealers or representatives will be permitted. Photo identification may be required. All artists must supply their own booth, tables and chairs. Only one artist may display work in a booth. Collaboration on work is permitted but must be identified on the application form. All work should be original and made by the artist, not manufactured. No "buy and sell" work will be permitted.

STANDARDS

All work displayed must be consistent with images submitted. The Festival will have on-site jurors to insure compliance during the festival. Work not consistent with the images will be required to be removed. Jurors will use the following guidelines in selecting eligible participants. "Whether one of a kind or produced in quantity, all work should reflect excellence of design and craftsmanship. Work should be well conceived, expertly executed, and show a creative identity of design." All submissions will be juried, but the Festival Committee reserves the right and responsibility to make final determinations as to the suitability of all work for inclusion into the show and the right to remove specific items or entire displays if deemed necessary.
